About My Recommendations

As a chef, traveling isn’t just about sightseeing; it’s about chasing the perfect bite. Whenever I explore a new city, I am constantly searching for true craftsmanship. Whether I’m looking for a flawless croissant at 8 AM, a quick street-food snack, or the ultimate Michelin-star evening, I want to experience food made with absolute dedication.

Because my inbox is always flooded with people asking for my personal hitlists, I decided to put everything in one place. These are my curated city guides. I’m sharing the exact spots I personally visit: from the best bakeries and local things to eat, to the kitchen supply stores where I buy my own kitchen gear.

"I believe true culinary craftsmanship shouldn't be a secret. From a hidden local bakery to an incredible fine-dining kitchen, I want to share the exact spots I personally visit. No gatekeeping, just pure quality."

Amsterdam | The Netherlands

Amsterdam is my favorite culinary city in the whole wide world. I lived here for eight years, so I have incredible memories in every part of the city and know exactly where to find the absolute best food and the finest craftsmanship.

Whether you want to explore hidden sandwich shops, experience next-level Michelin-star creativity, or simply pull a classic Dutch kroket from a wall at midnight, this city has it all. Like a true Dutchie, the best way to do this is on a bicycle. So rent a bike, and let’s explore my ultimate Amsterdam go-to places.
